Sulli’s Brother’s Controversial Revelations Cross the Line: “Script Was Thrown, Psychiatrist Was Shared”

Choi, the older brother of the late f(x) member and actress Sulli, has reignited controversy with a series of shocking and invasive social media posts.
On April 2, Choi uploaded a cryptic list of celebrity names to Instagram, later editing it to include real-name disclosures and direct accusations involving high-profile figures such as IU, Kim Soo-hyun, and the late Kim Sae-ron.
“IU Threw the Script at Her” — Explosive Allegations Over “Real”
In his edited post, Choi claimed that IU and Kim Soo-hyun had a close friendship, and alleged that IU was originally offered the female lead in** “Real**.” According to him, “After IU rejected the role, they threw the script at Sulli.”

He further alleged that IU introduced Sulli to her psychiatrist, and that the late Kim Sae-ron also saw the same mental health professional — an implication that has sparked heavy criticism for violating personal privacy and making baseless connections.
Accusations Around “Real” Continue
Choi has recently accused the “Real” production team, including Kim Soo-hyun and director Lee Sa-rang, of coercing Sulli into nude scenes. While he walked back claims of outright force, he stated, “There doesn’t appear to have been forced nudity… but there could have been sufficient persuasion (gaslighting).”

In response, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency Gold Medalist issued a firm statement, denying the allegations. They asserted that Sulli and her agency had been fully informed of the script’s content in advance, including the bed scenes.
They also clarified, “There wasn’t an acting double. The person on set was a standing actor used for lighting and blocking, not for performing.”
Naming P.O Draws Backlash
Choi has also come under fire for naming celebrities connected to Sulli’s private life. During a recent Instagram Live, he revealed that Sulli had dated Block B’s P.O for about a year, “P.O came to our house, drank wine with us. That was when they were dating. P.O was kind.”

Many online criticized this disclosure as invasive and unnecessary, especially since P.O remains active in the entertainment industry. In response, P.O’s agency Artist Company told Star News, “We ask for understanding that we cannot confirm matters related to private life.”
Public Backlash Grows

As Choi continues to make posts involving the names of celebrities, mental health professionals, and past private relationships, public sentiment is turning sharply against him. Critics say he has crossed the line, using Sulli’s tragic passing to air personal grievances and fuel speculation without evidence.
While some have expressed sympathy toward the family’s grief, many believe these continued posts are harmful to those involved, including the deceased.
